NYC Watch Week 2026: Every Event, and Where I'll Be

Dates, times, addresses and prices for Indies.NYC, Windup Watch Fair, The HYPE, WatchTime New York and Cellini, October 15 to 18, plus where I'll be.

By @midlifecrisiswatches · · 10 min read

New York is about to have more watches in one zip code than I can get to in four days. NYC Watch Week 2026, or New York Watch Week if you prefer, runs Thursday, October 15 through Sunday, October 18.

The hard part of watch week has never been finding something to do. It's that nobody organizes it cohesively. The fairs, salons, club nights and auction previews get announced across a dozen websites, Eventbrite pages, Luma invites and Instagram stories, and half of them change after you've made your plans.

So my friend Jason and I built the calendar we wanted. It lives here: NYC Watch Week 2026. It's the most complete picture of the week I've seen anywhere. Use it. What follows is the short version, plus where I'll be.

Last updated October 2, 2026. Everything here is subject to change, and a lot of it will. Times move, waitlists open and close, and events appear late. Check the guide and each event's RSVP link before you go.

For the record, I'm not affiliated with NYC Watch Week or any of the events, fairs or brands listed here. Nobody paid to be included. This is a collector's calendar, put together because I wanted one.

What's in the guide

Every event, with its own page. 31 of them across nine days. Each page has the address, host, price, how you get in, the RSVP link and who to contact if something changes. Most also carry a short insider take on when to go and what to pair it with.

Every brand, and where to find it. 145 brands and makers. Tap any brand and you can follow it through the week. 27 of them show up at two or more events, which matters if you miss someone on Thursday and want a second shot on Saturday. Sarpaneva is at both Indies.NYC and WatchTime. Holthinrichs is at Indies and The HYPE. If you are a brand and do not see yourself, let me know.

Filters for how you get in. Public, RSVP, ticketed or invite. If you only want the places you can walk into, that's one tap.

A confidence rating on everything. Confirmed means an organizer page or a ticket listing. Likely means a reliable secondary report or the host's own social post. Unconfirmed means inferred. Watch week runs on rumor, so we tell you which is which.

Who to look for. The founders, watchmakers, editors and executives expected in town, where they'll be, and how sure we are about it.

What isn't posted yet. A watchlist of events that usually happen around the week but have nothing announced for 2026, plus the auctions and shows just outside the window.

A spreadsheet. If you'd rather build your own plan, download the whole thing. Keep in mind that everything is subject to change.

When is NYC Watch Week 2026?

The main run is Thursday, October 15 to Sunday, October 18. Side events start Tuesday, October 13 and trail off on Tuesday, October 20. Wren is even throwing a launch party a full week early, on October 8, if you happen to be in town.

It isn't one organized event. It's a handful of fairs and a lot of parties that all landed on the same weekend, which is the best thing that could have happened for those of us who have to travel in.

Where I'll be during NYC Watch Week

Thursday: Indies.NYC, with Cellini before and Christopher Ward after. Indies is the one I'm most excited about. Independent makers host their own tables, no booths. Michiel Holthinrichs will be there, and I have a few of his watches, including one of the earliest Ornaments he sold. Stepan Sarpaneva is there too, and after the S.U.F Helsinki surprised me this year I want to see the bigger brother in person. Bradley Taylor is on the list as well. If registration is closed by the time you read this, Garrick has guest tickets. The details are on the Indies page.

Before Indies, I'd like to get to the Cellini Watch Fair, because Lang & Heyne is only there Thursday. I'm not sure it happens. After Indies, I'm heading to the Christopher Ward launch for the C1 Loco Classic.

Friday: Windup, and The HYPE if I can squeeze it in. I'm tied up until 2pm, which rearranges the day. Windup is the big open-door fair, more than 160 brands, free, no ticket. It's where a lot of the microbrands I bought on my way to 140 watches show up: Baltic, Studio Underd0g, Farer, Christopher Ward. The HYPE is a block away but closes at 4, so it's a quick lap Friday or it moves to Saturday.

Saturday: breakfast, then WatchTime New York. WatchTime is the high-end room. Laurent Ferrier, Parmigiani Fleurier, H. Moser and Zenith are all there, which is most of what's on my wrist in a given week. So are MING, Kollokium, Daniel Roth and Artisans de Genève, who are building my Knicks watch. I expect to be there a while.

If you're wondering what I mean by independent, I wrote about what actually makes a watch brand independent.

I'm hosting a breakfast on Saturday morning

I'm hosting a breakfast for the MidlifeCrisisWatches community on Saturday, October 17, from 8:30 to 10am, close to all of the above. It ends an hour before WatchTime opens, so you can walk straight over. Breakfast is on me.

We only have about 20 seats. As I write this we're at about 70% capacity, and I expect a waitlist, so do not wait.

RSVP here. You'll know right away if you have a seat or you're on the waitlist. About a week before, I'll email you to confirm you can still come, and then I'll send the location.

How to play the week

Today. Register for Indies.NYC, which is capped near 350, and for the FHH Watch Summit. Then get on the waitlists for Gotham Watch Club with Grandeur, Stollenwurm, Analog:Shift and HSNY's Horology 101. Waitlists move. Empty ones don't.

Thursday is the secret best day. Most people show up for the weekend. Thursday has Cellini, the FHH panels and Indies, and the people you want to talk to aren't exhausted yet.

If you only have one day, make it Saturday. WatchTime opens at 11, Windup runs noon to 6, and The HYPE is on the walk between them.

Sunday is for the gavel. Antiquorum's live sale at 11 AM is the only in-room watch auction in New York that week. After that, a last lap at WatchTime or Windup. Sunday afternoon is also when brands are most open to a deal.

Every other NYC Watch Week event, day by day

These are the ones worth knowing about beyond the big five. Each links to its page in the guide, with contacts and RSVP links.

Thursday, October 8 (the warm-up)

Tuesday, October 13

Wednesday, October 14

Thursday, October 15

Friday, October 16

  • Antiquorum preview, The Ned NoMad, 1170 Broadway. 2 to 5 PM. Free. Eight F.P. Journes, a Tiffany-signed Patek 5711/1R, and Antiquorum's first US sale since its return.

  • Keris cocktail hour at Time+Tide. 5 to 7 PM.

  • WatchTime VIP opening night, Gotham Hall. 5:30 to 8:30 PM. $250, listed as sold out. Friday night is when founders have time to talk, so it's worth chasing a resale ticket.

Saturday, October 17

Sunday, October 18

Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20

All week

  • The MB&F New York Lounge at 595 Madison Ave is open by appointment. It's the only place to buy the 25-piece LM101 EVO NYC Edition, if that's the kind of week you're having.

Just outside the window

If you're staying in town, or can't make it this weekend, the New York City Jewelry & Watch Show runs October 22 to 25 at the Metropolitan Pavilion, and HSNY's Horology 102 is October 22. The NYC auction season closes in December with Phillips and Christie's.

Times and details can change. Check the guide and each event's own site before you go, and if you see me, say hello.
